About the Business and Role:

The ITO (Innovation Technology Office) is a digital company based in Cumbria, looking to take its services to a broader and national level. We are comprised of over 15 different digital companies all working collectively under one brand to Make.Digital.Simple. We support and empower our clients to increase their business and reach their target audience. We offer a wide range of services from website design and SEO to virtual tours and photography, whilst continually looking for new ways of expanding our products to enhance both our business and that of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a result the ITO is rapidly growing and we are excited to be able to open our doors and increase our team. We are offering the role of a self employed, commission only Field Support Executive. Your role as a Field Support Executive, is to find new clients and deliver outstanding customer care, by listening to the clients requirements and providing the solutions. We even give you a starting point when you go to your initial meeting, as the ITO provides you with fully detailed audits of your prospective clients’ digital presence online, outlining their strengths and opportunities thus helping you work with your client developing an effective strategy. Our team of associates will then do the work for you and make your recommendations a reality.

The Person:

Experience in sales is an advantage, with the ideal candidate having experience as a Project Manager or Sales Manager. Experience in the digital sector is not necessary but an interest in digital services is beneficial. Most important to us is enthusiasm and a commitment to your client base. Customer care is key to the ITO and we expect all our staff to have the same work ethic.

  • An approachable persona with a positive can-do attitude
  • Ideally sales experience
  • Confident in talking to prospective clients with excellent communication skills
  • Leadership qualities with potential for the role to develop
  • Highly motivated
  • Digital services knowledge desirable but not essential
  • Proactive in finding new clients, upgrading current client packages and reaching targets, with a minimum of 12 new clients per year.
  • Whilst the majority of our work is conducted within normal working hours, a flexible approach is essential to meet the needs of the clients

Our goal is to provide our FSE’s the ability to say “yes, we can help” to any of the prospect meetings and opportunities that present themselves.

**This is a self-employed role, therefore it is down to the individual to ensure they are fully insured, paying tax and national insurance contributions.

**A current driving licence and access to a car is desirable as meetings may be based outside of the local area.
